The Florida Season

Are you planning on a winter in Florida this year? Now is the time to finalize those plans. We have a few stalls available at our Wellington location hacking distance to Wellington International. Whether you are a rider looking for the best Florida winter showing experience, an owner looking for a partner to develop a young show horse or you need a great marketing team, Ashwood consistently achieves these goals with clients. If you want to come for only a few weeks, we can handle that as well. Bring your horse or let us know and we can help you find an appropriate short term lease partner. We show at both WEF and The Ridge, so you can enter appropriate competition and have both high and low intensity options. We tailor the program to each individual, so if you are looking to show a lot and earn a circuit championship or you want to enjoy the warm weather and just lesson in our shady covered ring, we have you covered! Contact us today for more details.
THE NORTHERN SEASON
Spring in the Bluegrass is like heaven on earth for horses and their people. After a long winter of training and competition, and usually some hot weather, everyone loves arriving in Kentucky to the welcoming oversized turnouts and the return to riding out with the opportunity to do hill work with the horses. We show at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park for two weeks before traveling to the Devon Horse Show in Pennslyvania. After that, we are back in the Bluegrass. For the rest of the summer, we split time between Kentucky, World Equestrian Center Ohio occasionally, Europe (we can assist you with finding a lease horse to show for a week or two or three if that is interesting) and a few great weeks in Traverse City, MI, where the weather is usually a little cooler and perfect for horse showing. Then we return back to the Bluegrass for a little break before indoors start with Regionals in Kentucky, Capital Challenge, USET Finals, then often a nice week at World Equestrian Center in Ohio before finishing the season at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky. Just after this show, we pack and head back to Florida where the weather is much warmer! Sound like a dream? It is! Make it yours by contacting us and finding out how you can live the dream!
